I’ve made no bones about how much I like Grey Keyes. His Kingdom of Thorn and Bone series really captivated me last summer/fall and inspired me to try a multi-POV novel. But besides the fact that the books are great, the author is also a super-cool guy. The last book in the series, The Born Queen was just released; I suggest the series to anyone who likes good, hardy, character-driven fantasy. He’s also written some steampunk novels, as well as some Star Wars novels; so the guy’s seen some print.
