I have started a wiki! After months of deliberation on the subject, I decided to jump in and just go ahead and do it. It’s terribly addicting, I’ve found, and a little overwhelming. Having never put much of this stuff down, it’s been sloshing in my head, and I’m a little staggered at the sheer number of red links.
So, if you happen to be intrigued and would like a little more of a window into the world of The Aldersgate, you can visit Alderwiki. Most of the articles are currently in the barest of states, and some are even replete with spelling errors, etc. I am ashamed to admit my pitiful spelling capabilities, that I blame entirely on the advent of the spellchecker; in this instance, the built-in Firefox spellchecker doesn’t like the wikia forms, so…
Check back often, and hopefully it’ll start to look better soon (and be equally informative!).

I should really consider something similar for myself – if only to get all the scattered information collated in one spot instead of randomly scattered everywhere.

So after seeing that you started a wiki, I immediately went to find the alderpod that had the info about the Sib clans. Unfortunately, writing it down, there’s a lot missing 😦 I know you probably want it that way for now, so here’s what I have so far (excuse the spelling, since I’m sure it’s not the same as yours). I also wrote down some other bits but found it was also incomplete (like the layout of the Nithings). Ah well!
Clan Thuriz – Ez belongs to it. The houses closest to Triangle District belong to them. Rather high number of engineering members. Fire. Third clan of seven. Tur, or En-Tur to Islanders.
En-Fen, clan of Fen, the mother goddess, creation, fertility, etc. Clan Fehu to Sibs.
Clan Ansuz –
Clan Uruz –
Ina – Ina is the goddess of knowledge, bards love her
Raida –
Rhea – Goddess of the hunt, horses
Clan Kennaz –
Kay(?) – god of light and music
En-Lya – goddess of the sea. Seventh clan of Sibs is Nothing. Sibs that choose no clan and be beloved of no one.

The Alderwiki is *really* cool. So cool in fact, I rated your first ‘article’ 5 stars ^o^

@tintri My goodness! Yes, you are very close on most of those; they’re loosely based on the Anglo Saxon Futhark alphabet… but as soon as I get back home I will give you a copy of that chapter if you like, and some notes on the details of the religion. Because religion is in the background here, and thing of the ancient past, I don’t have as much as I do in comparison to other details (like the knighting orders, etc).
@cirellio You are so awesome! Thank you. Hopefully it’ll be a little more complete soon. Hoping to write a few articles this week as I’m traveling hither and yon.

I would absolutely adore that 😀 Anything about the Nithings and the Sibs, I’m all for!
