I discovered, after talking to Brigid Ashwood and my husband, that something was wrong with the first two podcasts for Alderpod. How long this has been an issue? I have no idea. But it’s rather… um, embarrassing. I know it was working right at some point, rather than doubling the prologue, but well… now it’s fixed. So, hopefully, if you’ve been listening you can re-download #2 and indeed get Chapter One, rather than a second prologue…
*head, desk*
Anyway. I have to hope that enough people figured that out, or had listened to it other ways, or can simply follow along. I’m assuming some folks have…
Agh. I periodically check the feed, but I couldn’t tell that it was downloading the wrong file. I wish I had caught this earlier…

Hi. I just started listening to your book via podcast. Really nice to work to (I am working on some database projects)..
I am using Songbird to view all of the podcasts straight from your feedburn. Everything is working lovely; however, two things: there seem to be duplicates of all the files, so I have to manually skip after each chapter, and chapter 2 and chapter 3 are name a little differently in the metadata (which is what SongBird lists them by) so they do not list in the correct order. They should be named: Alderpod #3-chapter two blah blah and Alderpod#4-chapter three something bla bla
if you correct the metadata on those files they will show up in the right order on music players.
Thanks for a great book. I will write a review when I am done.

@adam Thanks for the heads up! I check the feed in iTunes, so I hadn’t noticed this issue with Songbird. I will look into it. Being only marginally technically savvy, I will have my husband look at it. I’m glad you’re enjoying so far, in spite of the issues!
